BEHS Girls Golf State Success

History was made yesterday out at University Ridge Golf Course as your Varsity Spartan Girls Golf team competed in the WIAA State Tournament. The team of Payton Haugen, Emma Holzmacher, Elizabeth Zuniga-Meyer, Talulah Pearson, and Shivani Sharma finished overall in 2nd place and were WIAA State Runner-Up. The best finish ever in school history.

Also, Senior Captain Payton Haugen cards a 67 and 65 each day of the state tournament to win the individual state championship with a score of 12 under par. That sets a new WIAA State individual scoring record and is the best finish by a Spartan golfer up at the state tournament. Great job Payton!

What a way to close out a historic season, great job ladies! Go Spartans
